I am running for the Court of Appeals because I have a sense of calling—the place where my gifts and talents meet the world’s needs. My parents and grandparents instilled in me that public and community service is a central component of a life well-lived. And I have demonstrated a commitment to public and community service throughout my life.

I can think of no higher calling in public service than to serve as a Judge on the Court of Appeals of Georgia.

I believe strongly in our nation’s system of justice. An efficient, fair, and independent judiciary is a hallmark of our democracy. We need appellate judges who are able to make decisions with personal and intellectual integrity. I believe that I have the skills, temperament, and character to ably fulfill that role. I have dedicated my career to appellate litigation—starting with an appellate clerkship, then working at a large corporate law firm, then as a solo practitioner representing small businesses and individuals.

I believe that the Court of Appeals is the place where my skills and experience line up perfectly with my commitment to public service. I know I can do the work that the people of the State of Georgia need to ensure that justice is served.
